Mona-Lee Belizaire is the Founder of Pearls of Potential. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education from the University of Florida. She also holds a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health from the University of South Florida and a Master of Social Work degree from Florida State University.

Mona-Lee is passionate about the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women and girls especially in developing countries. She has over 8 years experience in the areas of maternal and child health and sexual and reproductive health, particularly with adolescents. She has worked on the local and national levels in the areas of teen pregnancy prevention, teen parenting and positive youth development. Mona-Lee has first hand experience understanding the shame and stigma that adolescent mothers face. She envisions a world where adolescent mothers will be treated fairly and encouraged to reach their full potential.
